field Custom24 (so you can easily include/remove tracks from your
CATraxxITunesCollection).

AlbumView/SetFieldValue or TrackView/SetFieldValue
- iTunes (existing music collection):
- The only way to syncronize CATraxx and iTunes is to
create a unique link between the two programs. Sync based upon
filename is utterly unusable (just think about renaming in CATraxx).
- Therefore all music in iTunes must be added by
HAPsyncITunes in order to create this link. The existing music
(links) cannot be used.
- Make a backup of the iTunesMusicFolder ("C:/Users/Thomas/Music/iTunes" or "C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\My
Music\iTunes").
- Goto Edit/Preferences/Advanced. Remove the tick
for Keep iTunes... and Copy files to....
- Any music in iTunes that
are not included in your CATraxx iTunesCollection will be
deleted(not the files) when you syncronize.
- If your iTunes library only contains music that
exists in CATraxx, it's much faster and easier just to remove or
rename the iTunesMusicFolder.
- iTunes will then create a blank database the next
time it starts. And you can always go back to your original
iTunesMusicFolder.
- If that's not the case, start including just one
album in your CATraxxITunesCollection. Then do Updates/AddUpdate.
Then Syncronize to allow deleting your old music.
- How are the updates found?
- When you click Updates, the program will search for all tracks in your CATraxxiTunesCollection, where Album.lastmodified,Track.lastmodified or Track.TagWrite has changed since the specified date/time.
- The first time you start the program, the date/time will be now.
- If you want to force the updates to include the
complete CATraxxiTunesCollection, change the date back to before you
marked the first album or track (or started using CATraxx).
